Hi there!

    I’m Summer 🙂

I attend Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University in downtown Grand Rapids. I am now a senior in the Graphic Design program and set to graduate in the spring of 2023!

I’m a Friends enthusiast, rat mom, and beach lover. I spend my summers up at my favorite place: Big Star Lake! The rest of my year is spent in my hometown of Byron Center. I love to design, as well as make all kinds of arts and crafts from drawing, to diamond painting, and so much more. Spending time with my family and friends is very important to me. Their support is a major reason I have become the designer that I am today.

I have been at Kendall for almost 3 years now and I have loved every second. Even throughout the pandemic (when classes were completely online), I still loved the work and learned a lot. Some of my favorite projects so far have been Scoops by Summer, Erth, and a project I just finished called Lakeside Legacies.

I look forward to my future in the design world and can’t wait to see where God leads me!
