Creative Process

The creative process is the most important part of any good project. It allows a designer to be specific, creative, and continue to produce meaningful work.

Designing to Survive Cover

Project Goal

The goal for this project was to create a design concept for a piece of text. I chose an article called Designing to Survive. It’s about architecture design that changed during the pandemic.

Concept & Design

The first part of this project was to read the article, take notes, and do a lot of research on the subject. After all of this I decided to create a booklet that showed the interconnectedness of pandemic architecture. I did this by creating what I call ‘one line drawings’. All of the designs throughout the book relate to the content on the page and are all connect through the same line. The final line drawing in the booklet is a combination of all the ideas of the text.
